A fine Antique Silver Fiddle Pattern Cutlery service for twelve all made by Aldwinckle and Slater of London in 1877 -1891 with rare original knives by the same maker (rebladed) and with round bowl soup spoons made in 1930 by William Hutton and Sons of Sheffield. This lovely hand forged service comprises 12 Round bowl Soup spoons - 12 Table forks -12 Dessert spoons -12 dessert forks and 12 small spoons (6 Tea spoons and 6 Coffee) plus 6 Serving spoons.

Complementing this are the original same maker Victorian knives 12 Table and 12 Dessert which would habe been rebladed at the same time the soup spoons were added. 90 pieces total. A Rare and good quality set with the benefits of the original knives and round bowl soup spoons (these are rare in fiddle pattern). The knife blades would have originally been carbon steel and have become rusty - stainless steel was invented in 1913 and would have been rebladed when the soup spoons were added in 1930.
