A rare antique silver small early Victorian basket with chased representation of Windsor Castle. This beautifully detailed basket with decorative swing handle is rare as historic buildings are normally seen only on snuff boxes, vinaigrette’s and card cases. The basket still retains it’s original presentation inscription which states that Mrs Black gave the basket to M G on the 3rd October 1849.The basket is in excellent condition throughout and the decoration remains very crisp.
