Antique ratafia glass English circa 1765.
Ratafia glass. Doubles series opaque twist stem, elongated round funnel bowl with moulded basal flutes and on plain conical foot. Collectors number to underside of foot.

Note: Ratafia is a type of liqueur flavoured with almonds and fruit kernels. The glass is sometimes referred to as a flute cordial.
Condition Very good. Slight scratching in the base of the bowl. See photograph 4.
