Albrecht Dürer, Landscape with gun

Etching, 1518, probably Meder d impression of the final state with rust spots; the stains are caused by the iron platemark wrongly chosen by the Master for his etchings, always shown in any impressions after the first two editions. Impressed on laid paper with the watermark Double Eagles, classified by Briquet (n. 232) as a XVI century paper.

Original engraved 8.6 x 12.6 inch.

In very good condition.
