A very fine mid 19th Century Faux Rosewood Bobbin Turned Open Armchair On Brass Cup Castors.
English circa 1840.
This is an exceptionally fine example of a bobbin armchair. Good deep proportions and well constructed beech frame with original faux rosewood finish, padded armrests with shaped shepherds crook arm, raised on turned front legs and fine quality brass cup castors.
In excellent condition ready for a top coat fabric of choice, the front brass cup castors are both of period but matching with just a very slight difference in finish, the timber and faux rosewood graining are of the best quality and colour.
