This exceptional tea caddy is beautifully inlaid throughout. The whole is veneered in various well chosen woods such as Kingwood, tulipwood, harewood, ebony, boxwood and purpleheart. Cabinet making and craftsmanship at its best, this is a magnificent tea caddy. Enclosing three purpleheart wood canisters inside the lid. One of the cannisters hides a secret compartment which is revealed when removed from its compartment. Attributed to Abraham Roentgen, a German emigre .
