18th century satinwood sewing box.
A fine quality 18th century satinwood veneered sewing box. Banded throughout with tulipwood and boxwood stringing. The top section is beautifully adorned with 18 small circular Jasperware Wedgwood roundels pinned down with Tula ((faceted cut steel) which sparkle like diamonds!
A large central Jasperware Wedgwood plaque is also framed with Tula as decoration.
