 A HANDSOME MID 17TH CENTURY CARVED OAK WAINSCOT ARMCHAIR. ENGLISH. CIRCA 1650.

THE SUPERBLY CARVED BACK WITH CENTRAL FLOWER DECORATION WITHIN AN ARCHADED ARCH, THE WONDERFUL CHAMFERED DOWN SWEPT ARMS TERMINATING IN SCROLL ENDS. IT HAS A TAPERED MOULDED SEAT ABOVE CARVED SEAT RAILS, WITH WELL TURNED LEGS UNITED BY STRETCHERS. PLEASING COLOUR , PROBABLY FORM THE SALISBURY AREA.
