A rare set of twelve late eighteenth century dessert forks in the Old English/Hanoverian pattern made by Richard Crossley in London in 1783/4 (six 1783 and six 1784). The forks are of excellent weight (probably a third heavier than usual and a little larger than most of this early date. They are in very good condition and early period dessert forks are becoming increasingly hard to find.
