A set of 12 superb Georgian silver bead pattern large table knives made in Sheffield in 1776 by Thomas Hoyland. The knives have been rebladed with stainless steel in the 1920/30s by Wilson of Sheffield (11 blades struck with makers marks of Wilson -1 struck with makers mark of Chappell). Each of the knives have been finely engraved with a family crest of a stag and unlike the vast majority of eighteenth century knives in stunning condition ( one of the finest sets I have owned)
