Wonderfully shaped Regency mahogany armchair upholstered in a fine quality pure linen fabric by Casamance.
English Regency circa 1815
Of curvaceous form, this well designed Regency armchair has a waisted shaped curved back rounded arms above removable cushioned seat raised on ring turned tapering legs to the front and wonderfully splayed legs to the rear, all terminating on the original brass caps and castors.
The legs having kept their glorious almost ebonised original finish with untouched castors, whilst the upholstery has been recently recovered in a very fine French basket weave pure linen from the Casamance design house.
