Georgian Chrysoprase and Diamond Shamrock Brooch circa 1800.
An unusual Georgian brooch set with a chrysoprase and diamond set shamrock.
The chrysoprase is cut into heart shaped cabochons and is a pretty pale green in colour. These are surrounded by small diamonds around a diamond centre. The shamrock has a diamond set stem and is silver fronted with a gold reverse, typical of the era.
The brooch has indistinct numbers to one side of the knife edge bar and a stock style pin.

Era: Georgian, 1714 - 1837.
Measurements: Brooch 3.8cm in length, 3.6 grams in weight.
Hallmarks: Unmarked, tests as silver and gold.
