The slender quatre-lobed pear-shaped bodies set with pierced chilong dragon handles, painted to each side with three landscape panels, the largest containing a scene of five female musicians, engaged in a rehearsal, all on garden terrace overlooking a river estuary, with European figures on the far shores, the smaller cartouches with river scenes depicting Chinese river boats, and western three-masted ships, all reserved on rouge-de-fer and gilt diaper ground, the domed covers with seated lion dog finials.
