A Japanese Kenjo Imari style porcelain kettle. Meiji Period (1868-1912). The kettle, raised on three stub feet, and having a overhead strap handle. Painted with panels of stylised flowering plants in iron red, and gilt, upon a green ground. Set upon a ground of dense.flowering scroll. The spout and neck painted with flowerheads, on an iron red ground.
Having a flying crane moulded cover, the head forming the finial.
