A fine quality William IV period 19th century rosewood Lamp Table, or Centre Table.

Having superbly figured oval top of good proportion, raised on elegant reverse tapered and fluted column terminating with attractive carved tripod legs.

This incredibly elegant table is an unusual, but most practical size. It is lovely having an oval top, as opposed to the much more common circular variety, and the rosewood veneers which have been used are of the highest quality.

The elegant column and attractive carving to the tripod legs all indicate this would have been constructed in one of the best workshops of the time.

Circa 1835.

Height - 28.5in.
Width - 37in.
Depth - 30in.
