A Chinese Export Silver bowl, decorated with eight panels of figural scenes, bamboo, dragon, prunus and bird decoration, and dating from around 1880. Marked with WH for Wang Hing '宏兴‘ which was the largest retailer in China from the 1860's to the 1940's and the most well known and influential. The firm worked with many different silversmiths in Canton, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, and this bowl was made by '公和‘(GongHe).
