Copeland Nelson tyg.

A fine Copeland Nelson Centenary 1905 china tyg with three handles, richly decorated overall.

The three sides bearing the profile and crests of Nelson, Britannia with her helmet, shield and trident in a horse-drawn chariot, and H.M.S. Victory alongside a 20th century warship.

The three profiles further inscribed: "LEST WE FORGET - ADMIRAL LORD NELSON - BRITAIN'S NAVAL HERO - BORN 1758. DIED 1805."; "TO CELEBRATE THE CENTENARY - H.M. GEORGE III. BORN 1738. DIED 1820." and "OF THE BATTLE OF TRAFALGAR OCT. 21, 1805 - BRITANNIA RULES THE WAVES - BRITONS NEVER SHALL BE SLAVES - H.M. EDWARD VII. BORN 1841. ACCESSN 1901."

The tyg marked on the underside as a "Subscribers Copy" sold by T. Goode & Co of South Audley Street, West London, with the registration number "Rg No 454624".
