A rarely found and finely presented pair of prints; War & Peace. Stipple engravings with colour after the original works by Henry Singleton, R.A. 1766-1839.
Peace: a cottage interior with a family conversing with a soldier, a view of haymakers at work beyond.
War: a soldier taking leave of his wife and child, a regiment marching and ships engaged in action off a port beyond.
