Vladimir Pavlovich Nechoumoff (Russian, c. 1900 – 1977)

Executed in 1921 Figurative painter, illustrator Vladimir Pavlovich Nechoumoff studied at the Kharkov School of Fine Arts. He emigrated at the time of the Revolution and settled initially in Istanbul. He then moved to Paris, attending the "Grande Chaumière "and is part of the Russian association" l'Icône".

In the pre-war period, his workshop was located at 4 rue d'Arsonval in Paris. At the end of his life, he created his ceramic workshop in Caracas. He exhibited regularly at the Salon des Indépendants between 1938 and 1947. These works were executed mainly from his time in Istanbul and have a highly art deco feel to them.
