Victorian burr walnut card-table by Gillow & Co of Lancaster; date-code 9811 for 1880/81; the hinged and swiveling top with cross-banded borders inside and out, and lined with blue baize within a gold-tooled blue leather laurel-leaf border. Mounted on turned legs united by an angular stretcher and with parcel-gilt and ebonised mouldings. On its original gilt-brass Collinson Patent cup-castors. Circa 1880/81
