Very Rare Post Medieval Apothecary spoon.
Rare and interesting post Medieval Brass/Bell metal Spoon. Dating to around 1580-1620 this superb spoon is in fabulous original condition, it has a lovely tactile feel with gently softened edges to the rim and stem and has a subtle patination. The oversized bowl measures a whopping 4 x 3.5 inches, the whole spoon being 8 inches in length. Rare opportunity to add to a collection or start one.
