A very rare George III Scottish One Go Wine Label made in Edinburgh circa 1786-90, maker's mark of IG.
The Label is modelled in the Scottish interpretation of the crescent form and is engraved for SHERRY.
This piece is of an unusual "One Go" size, for a one go decanter.
This is the first time we have seen this type of label coming from Scotland.
This example is very well marked on the reverse.
