A VERY FINE SHERATON INLAID SATINWOOD PEMBROKE TABLE. GEORGE III, CIRCA 1780.
The oval top, crossbanded and with a central large oval paterae of radial thistlelike fronds, the wide border with a continuous scrolling oval design inset with star like flowers, and over an oval shaped frieze, with a single and dummy drawer inlaid with naturalistic scrolling flowers and leaves, raised on four square and tapering legs, capped with paterae & inlaid with corresponding flowerhead stem and leaf motif.
