A very fine pair of Trailing Vine Sugar Tongs made in London in 1845 by Hayne & Cater.
The Tongs are of a substantial size and gauge and are modelled in the rare trailing vine pattern, with beautifully decorated arms and vine leaf and grape grips.
The arched top is engraved with a contemporary Crest. The Tongs are in excellent condition and are very well marked
