A very fine George III Wine Label made in London circa 1775 by Samuel Meriton.
This beautiful wine label is narrow rectangular in form with a bright cut border and domed section above, pierced with scroll work and a single flower head.
The label is pierced for MADEIRA and is well marked on the reverse with the maker's mark and sterling mark. This piece is in excellent crisp condition.
