Very fine George III period mahogany open arm chair in the neo-classical style; the square back with a channelled and beaded frame, similarly carved down-curved arms on slender fluted baluster supports and a beaded seat-frame and finely-detailed front legs with fluted-and-spiralled shafts and stiff-leaf headings and turned feet. The upholstery covered in mellow green hide with brass trim. Circa 1790
