A very fine George III Heraldic Wine Label made in London circa 1780 by James Hyde.
The Label is oval in form and displays a crisp bright cut oval border.
This piece displays an oval cartouche above engraved with a set of contemporary script initials and flanked by supporters engraved with herring bone designs. T
he face is pierced for SHERRY and the label is well marked on the reverse with the maker's mark and sterling mark.
