A fine north Italian giltwood and verre eglomisé overmantel mirror, Lombardy, circa 1790.
The cresting with a pair of doves with the attributes of Venus flanked by acanthus scrolls, the verre eglomisé frieze decorated in gilt on a black ground with putti, satyrs, and a goat. Original plates and gilding.
