A Fine and Unusual Pair Of Gilt and Patinated Bronze Neoclassical Three-Light Wall Appliques.
This rare pair of wall lights each have a circular gilt-bronze shield back plate finely cast with martial trophies, surmounted by an eagle and issuing from its centre a patinated bronze arm, holding in its hand a three-light candelabra in the form of a classical Caduceus.
These wall appliques were formerly owned by Michael Winner (1935 - 2013), the celebrated English film director, producer and restaurant critic.
