An unusual 15th century oak roof angel. Probably dating to the first half of the 15th century, this rather severe looking angel is shown with feathered wings, wearing a short tunic and holding a shield.
The back has a hole where it was secured looking down. It is 13 1/2 inches wide x 8 1/2 inches high x 5 inches deep.
