A late 19th Century travelling set consisting of a barometer, compass and thermometer. Gilt cased aneroid pocket barometer with rotating bezel marked in feet, gilt ring bow.
Silvered metal dial, blue steel hand. Matching gilt pocket compass, the direction indicated be a rotating mother of pearl disc marked with the points of the compass. Gilt winding button rotating to lock the disc.
Both housed in a red morocco case lined with green velvet. Between them a small mercury thermometer on a bone scale marked in Fahrenheit and centigrade.
