A large late 19th Century Swiss Goliath lever watch with moonphase calendar in a nickel open face case. Keyless three quarter plate gilt movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator. Compensation balance with overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Large white enamel dial with subsidiaries for day date and month in English. The seconds subsidiary with an opening to show the phases of the moon, Roman numerals, blue steel hands, gilt calendar hands. Substantial plain nickle open face case, plain nickle cuvette, sets for the calendar in the front bezel.
