Small Japanese Kakiemon fluted bowl.

With fluted rim.

Decorated with a branch of flowering prunus issuing from banded-hedges, with a bird in flight on the reverse.

A Japanese bowl circa 1670-90 with similar decoration can be found in the Rijksmuseum Collection, BK-1968-243-1.
