A fine silverpoint portrait of a lady, circa 1825, identified to the reverse of the frame as a Mrs. Williams, wearing an indoor bonnet, Empire style dress with puffed sleeves and waist sash, lace fichu, silk bows and her hair dressed in curls.
Attributed to Johannes Notz (Swiss, 1802-1862) and within a fine period birds-eye maple frame.
