A silver mounted Toilet Jar made in London in 1859 by Abraham Brownett & John Rose.

This very fine Jar has a beautiful deeply cut base and a parcel gilt silver cover engraved with pluming scrolls, geometric designs and pretty floral sprays.

The jar is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the underside of the pull-off cover.

The cover also displays a vacant circular gold cartouche.
