A set of four large 16th century panels.
Probably French and mid 16th century, this set of panels are decorated with female Romayne heads in roundels and extraordinary chip carved birds and what appear to be dolphins.
Additional decoration includes raised buttons in the form of flowers and punchwork circles. They have rich dark colour and measure 24 inches x 11 1/2 inches.
