Rosewood Writing Slope.
A fine, early 19th century writing slope, Rosewood with Kingwood feather-laid banding.
A Bramah lock secures the lid which opens onto a blue skiver-lined writing surface with blind and gilt tooling. The front flap of the desk lifts onto a lift–out mahogany tray which further conceals a covering strip to two secret drawers.
