Regency rosewood letter box. The tray with pierced fretwork canted sides with stationary racks to each side of the central letter box which has two divisions.
The hinged top with lock is inlaid with floral mother of pearl and has two labels, one inscribed ‘answered’ and the other ‘unanswered’ to the two compartments beneath.
