Regency rosewood framed sampler ‘The Rainbow’. Beautifully preserved and inscribed, Harriet Thomas’s, Work Aged 12 years, Stoke May 29, 1826. The top with coronets for a king through to a baron, the central poem flanked by birds, animals, flowers and jardiniere. The frame of figured rosewood veneer with gilt slip.
