After a design by Thomas Hope Circa 1807
The table with a rectangular top above a highly figured frieze with ebonised beaded moulding and two cast bronze wreaths, supported on well carved bronzed panther mask monopodiae and narrow plinths.
Provenance: North Mymms Park, Hertfordshire
Literature: Thomas Hope Household Designs 1807 Plate 15 no 3 for an almost identical table but without the central frieze motif.
