Spode Vase with Egyptian Hieroglyphics.

A rare nineteenth century vase by Spode of urn form, with bronzed dolphin form handles to each side, the neck decorated with gilt oak leaf motif, and the body decorated with a band of Egyptian hieroglyphics, supported on a turned giltwood base.
