Pearl Encrusted Gold Repeater.

An early 19th Century Swiss quarter repeating cylinder in a rare pearl encrusted gold open face case.  Skeletonised three quarter plate gilt keywind movement, suspended going barrel with polished steel stopwork.  

Plain cock with blue steel regulator, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring.  Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel.  Push pendant quarter repeating on two rectangular section polished steel gongs.  

Gold engine turned dial, Roman numerals, gold hands.  Fine gold open face case the bezels set with a row of large split pearls.  The back encrusted with graduated split pearls in a geometric pattern.  

The background of the design filled with many hundreds of tiny split pearls entirely covering the back.  Trefoil bow, wound and set through the gold cuvette.  Pearl set key and short gold chain.
