A Rare Pair of Louis Philippe Patinated Bronze Dragon Stands.

This exceptional pair of patinated bronze stands are finely cast in le goût chinois with a moulded circular border anthemion mounts and foliate trails. The three legs are finely cast with acanthus and fronded-acanthus and put down on paw feet. The legs are united by an under tier supporting an exceptionally chiselled bronze dragon figure.
