A Rare Pair of Cream Kashmiri Candlestick Lamps.

Kashmir, India, circa 1880.

An unusual pair of nineteenth century Kashmiri papier mâché lamps, with barley twist supports in green, decorated with tropical birds, butterflies and flora, all supported on turned bases.

Photographed with 16” diameter pale cream card Pembroke lampshade.

Currently wired for the UK with patinated brass BC bulb fittings, bronze twisted silk flex, black torpedo switches, and white 13amp plugs.
