A rare George III Wine Label made in London circa 1786-90 by Hester Bateman.
This rare wine label has a curved shape and is narrow rectangular in form, with a domed top, beautifully pierced with pluming scrolls.
The outer border is decorated with a bright cut zig zag band and the banner is engraved for WHITE WINE.
This piece is in excellent crisp condition and is a rare design from the Bateman workshops.
The reverse displays a crisp set of marks, including a good maker's mark.
