The Caddy Spoon is unusually modelled with an octagonal bowl which is engraved with a pineapple and an outer border of prick dot swags and foliate motifs. The fiddle pattern handle is engraved with an eclectic mix of prick dot designs and displays a vacant cartouche.

The spoon is in excellent condition and is very well marked on the reverse. A near identical shape is shown in, "Caddy Spoons" by Captain John Norie, Plate 52, fig d.
