An amazing oversize antique Heriz carpet from the late 19th Century, an amazing green central medallion pattern with a rich red main background and bold geometric corner designs. The pale blue border really sets off the whole carpets composition, making it a vibrant stunning piece! Woven over 130 years ago, this carpet is in very good order, a fine medium pile height all over.
Please view the additional images to see how lovely the colours and intricate pattern has been woven. Accomplished nomadic weavers have created a stunning large antique carpet.
It is getting increasingly rare to find antique Persian Heriz carpets of this quality in such original condition. Ideal for a drawing room, dining room, study or entrance hall, supplied with our sturdy underlay, helping it sit safely and flat on any floor type, enhancing its appearance too.
Request a home visit to view this stunning antique Heriz in the privacy of your own home. We travel all over the UK showing our carpets and rugs in-situ to help you make the right choice. A professional service we have offered for the last 30 years.
