A Queen Anne Burr Walnut Table Cabinet Incorporating A 17th Century German Intarsia Interior.

Width 22” (56cm) Depth 10” (25.5cm) Height 19” (48 cm).
This charming cabinet consists of a central door surrounded by seven short and one long drawer. The drawers and the door are all inlaid with stylised foliage and flower heads. The panelled top has a herring bone border and cross grain moulded edge. The sides have a wide banded border. The base with a further cross grained ogee moulding which terminates above finely drawn bun feet.
A delightful combination of English and German cabinet work with a lovely colour and patina.
