A fine and rare pair of simulated rosewood and parcel gilt tables in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster. The end supports with well carved and gilded acanthus scrolls to the top and feet, with three turned columns to the centre.
The later marble tops replaced when from a Titled family, they sold the pietra dura tops that the tables had been commissioned for.
