A Pair of Meissen Owl Lamps.

Germany, circa 1900.

A pair of early twentieth century Meissen white owl lamps, the owls modelled with wings folded behind the backs, with painted yellow bead eyes and beak, and resting on a naturalistic base. Meissen stamps to the base.

Photographed with a 9” diameter Pembroke card lampshade.

Currently wired for the UK, with patinated brass BC bulb fittings, bronze twisted silk flex, black torpedo switches and white 13amp plugs. Please enquire for rewiring services.
